David Rust

After working a few years as a screenprinter, David Rust studied graphic design at the University of Art & Design Lausanne (Ecal), where he ended up teaching from '97 to '00. During a stay at the Cranbrook Academy of Arts, he co-developed the typeface DetroitMM, which led him to explore the multiple master technology through experimental typefaces that were awarded at the Swiss Design Awards in 1998 and 1999. He is now living in Lausanne and working in Geneva, Switzerland.
