Optimo and webfonts

Optimo typefaces are available as webfonts via our partner WebINK using their web font rental service that allows you to include our typefaces directly in your websites using your CSS stylesheet. No JavaScript.

How can I update my purchased typefaces?

All Optimo fonts have been updated to the latest OpenType standards. If you are the owner of an Optimo license purchased before june 2011, you are eligable for a free update. Simply write us an email with your licence number, and we will send you the font files.

Who needs to buy the license?

Everyone who uses the font software needs to have a license. Most of the time graphic designers or agencies are buying the license (end user), not the client. If the designer sells a template to the client that needs Optimo fonts to be installed, the client will have to purchase his own license. If an agency hires a freelance graphic designer or an outside contractor, for a project that uses a Optimo font, each entity will have to buy a license, remember that a license is not transferable.

Does my printer need a license?

If you can't generate PDF or Postscript files when you output your job, you are allowed to send a copy of the font to your printer or service bureau. After the job is complete, the license holder or the printer or the service bureau, must destroy the copy of the Font Software.

Do I need a License for my laptop?

Yes, as our ‘Standard License’ authorizes the installation of the font software up to 5 computers, you must count your laptop and any other device on which the font will be installed.

Unsuccessful in the upgrading process?

You would like to upgrade to a pack, a family or add a new style to a previous purchase. You followed the instruction as explained in the ‘Buying fonts’ section but are still unsuccessfull.

Compare the ‘Licensing information’ fields with the one found on your previous order's invoice, be sure they match. Try again, if it still doesn't work, send us the copy of your previous invoice, with a short text that explains the problem, and the fonts you would like to buy.
